Weather: Cloud / drizzle Max Speed: 27.3mph (knots - unless stated otherwise) Distance Covered: 13.9m (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise) Toasty? I don't think so! Today I was a little rusty, and it took me a good hour to get happy with my kit. I was fiddling with the straps, the harness lines and the outhaul, as the wind gradually declined. I had a mixed windsurf today. Rushing from work at 12:15, I hit the water (hard) at 1. It was nice and windy. Keeping my hands warm was tricky. After a cuppa my sailing was miles better. A bit of jumping and a good hour of dry gybing. Felt good. Paul, I think its a "gimp mask" not a "squid lid"! Either way it's weird. |
